What kind of instruments can I request?

​The range of possible instruments is vast.  Most orchestral and band instruments, as well as modern pop instruments, are available.  If an electronic backing track is desired, more exotic forms of "world" percussion instruments cannot be guaranteed, although they can be included in the score. For more information, contact me directly. 

Will the lyrics tell my story?

Yes. A phone interview will be needed to give me an idea of the story you wish to tell. (Please note that I may not be able to properly express all stories. This is an art, not a science. Should I personally be unable to connect with the narrative and emotion of your story, and thereby be unable to complete the task, I will inform you immediately and no cost will be incurred.)

Do I have to fill out a form?

No forms are required. The phone interview and basic information regarding your music choices are all that is needed.

How can I pay?

Paypal or credit/debit are acceptable methods of payment. Fifty percent of the cost must be paid before I begin composing. The other fifty percent (with optional addition for shipping) will be paid upon completion of the song. (Note, personal checks and cash will be accepted where payment can be ensured.)

What if I don't know what kind of music/what instruments I want?​

Contact me by phone or email and I will work personally with you according to your own interests.

​If I want my music mailed by post or courier, will that cost extra?

A shipping fee equal to the amount of the shipping costs will be incurred should you desire music delivery by mail or courier.

What process is involved?

The process is simple. 1) Contact me (should you wish to purchase a song) and inform me of your "Overall Option" choice, instrument choices, and the musical style desired. 2) Should lyrics be requested, a phone interview will be needed to give me an idea of the story you wish to tell. 3) Once the interview is completed, we will work out a timeline for your song's creation. We will also work out the cost. 4) Your song can be delivered via email or mail. (Please note, however, that extra time must be allowed for the scores to arrive via mail.) Note that I may not be able to properly express all stories. This is an art, not a science. Should I feel that my art is not a good fit for the product you desire, I will inform you immediately and no cost will be incurred.

How many instruments can I request?

You can request up to ten instrument parts. This is counting a first violin, for example, as a separate instrument from a second violin (a violin that harmonizes with the first).
